Sir Tyler’s son, Hugh, is just like any other baby… if every other infant also displayed an aptitude for magical abilities.

Tyler and Flora determine that their baby deserves a proper wizard’s education when he gets older, and they decide to take him to the Isle of Feather: a rebellious, green country full of mythical creatures, legal magic, beer, and luck.

Getting Hugh admitted to the Wizard’s Academy will be the least of their troubles when Tyler gets caught in a conspiracy to foment dissent between the locals and outsiders.

Tyler, with the help of Rheingold, Babble, Flora, and Princess Julliette will try to end centuries of bad blood between the the Isle of Feather and the rest of Rothbart the only way he knows how: brewing a new, dark, and luscious beer that nobody-- local or foreign-- could deny.
