The Earth is covered in junk, inhabited by gigantic mutant roaches, and is going to explode.

Definitely not the most hospitable dimension that the DEPP has transported Dave and Co. to, but as they say, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. This dying planet may be deadly, but it’s full of potential rewards, and the crew can find the tools they need to build their base in style and comfort.

But none of that matters if the earthquakes tear the planet apart before they shift to the next dimension, and this doomed world becomes their last.
